Lindsay has joined KR Health & Social Care as hospital director at Draper House. Lindsay has worked in healthcare as a registered nurse/ward manager and rehabilitation services manager gaining vast experience in low secure and locked rehabilitation forensic mental health. Lindsay has supported the development of rehabilitation services previously, She has experience of developing rehabilitation pathways, decreasing length of stay, supporting patients to discharge and developing relationships with the CQC and commissioners. Her passion is enabling rehabilitation within mental health service, her existing and developing knowledge with up to date evidence based practice enables her to make a positive contribution to developing new services providing excellent standards of care in a sustainable way.
Medical Director & Consultant
Dr Vishy joined us in Sep 2018. He is a Consultant Forensic Neuropsychiatristwith postgraduate qualifications in Forensic Psychiatry, Law and Clinical Neurology. He has over 15 years of clinical experience and has worked across a diverse range of secure and non-secure services both in the NHS and the Independent Sector. He has extensive experience of developing specialist mental health services including neurorehabilitation and autism services. He has published papers and presented at various conferences on a range of issues including brain injury. He has received a number of awards including the Howard White Memorial Prize, Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Clinical audit prize and Certificates of High Commendation. He was awarded his Master of Laws in Mental Health Law with Commendation. He completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neurology from Queens Square, London with distinction and was also judged Best Student. Vishy believes that there is no magic in a building and it is staff who make a service unique and specialist. Over the years, he has developed and delivered training for frontline staff in specialist areas. One such training program on Neurorehab that involved patient participation, was a UK wide finalist in Service User awards. Vishy is passionate about patients receiving high quality assessments and interventions that are evidence based. He has a strong reputation for leading on quality improvement initiatives.
Rebecca has joined KR Health & Social Care Group as Operations Director. Rebecca has over 20 years experience working within the Independent Healthcare Sector, NHS Healthcare and Global Pharmaceutical Organisations. As a highly motivated member of the Senior Management Team within the Independent Healthcare Sector, Rebecca has achieved effective communication skills with extensive working knowledge to identify opportunities and deliver high standards of care whilst ensuring that the business needs are achieved. Her experience has enabled her to develop not only specific healthcare experience, but also a valuable and transferrable skill in this rapidly evolving and competitive business.
Sabita is a charted counselling psychologist registered under the BPS and HCPC with 10 years of clinical experience. She has worked with diverse client groups, with a variety of presenting issues within a range of settings including one- to -one psychological therapy, counselling group work, and hospital settings. Sabita uses a gentle therapeutic approach to create a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive environment enabling you to openly discuss your concerns. She works collaboratively with you to identify helpful ways to manage these difficulties and improve. She provides specialist clinical assessment, formulation and intervention for complex mental health difficulties, and promotes a psychological, recovery focussed perspectives. Sabita specialises in complex grief, multi-culture counselling and complex trauma. Sabita uses a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, EMDR and DBT tailored to your individual needs. She is committed to providing high quality psychological care and maintains her expertise and professionalism through ongoing clinical and supervision, and continuing professional development.
Keeley is a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist. Prior to joining Draper House, Keeley has previously worked as an Occupational Therapist in secure inpatient setting with patients with Learning Disabilities and within acute services. These experiences allowed her to develop her skills and knowledge in both Mental Health and Physical Health. Keeley feels that every person has the opportunity to develop whilst at Draper House and that therapeutic engagement can allow a person to progress to independent living in the community. Keeley works with a person centred approach, using clear and attainable goals so that each person has the chance to thrive following intervention from Draper House.
Mental Health Act Administrator
Victoria is our Mental Health Administrator with over 10 years of experience working alongside MDT, protecting patients’ rights, embedding processes and ensuring autonomy throughout. With a wide range of skills and experience Victoria is able to support and lead staff through periods of rapid change and facilitate new ways of working, best practice and compliance. Since joining Draper House Victoria has developed our electronic patient record system and has become an integral part of the team, delivering training for staff our Electronic Patient Record system which emphasises patient centred care and involvement, providing staff with the skills and knowledge of the system and contributing to the continued development of quality within the organisation.
Consultant Psychiatrist & Responsible Clinician
Dr Ginju is an experienced psychiatrist and has worked in the NHS for a number of years in various services including acute male and female inpatient units. He strongly believes that patient involvement and team working are key to good outcomes.
