Dr Vishwanath Ramakrishna

Consultant Forensic Neuropsychiatrist & Medical Lead
GMC: 6058514

Dr Vishy GMC reference no 6058514 is the Medical Lead/Consultant for our specialist hospital services since Sep 2018. He has over 17 years of clinical experience and has worked across a diverse range of secure and non-secure services in the NHS and the Independent Sector. He has postgraduate qualifications in Forensic Psychiatry, Mental Health Law (with Commendation) and Clinical Neurology (Distinction). He has extensive experience of developing specialist mental health services and has published papers and presented at various conferences. He has received a number of awards including the Howard White Memorial Prize, Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Clinical audit prize and Certificates of High Commendation. Over the years, he has developed and delivered innovative training programmes for staff, one of which was a UK wide finalist in Service User awards. At Krinvest, Vishy advises the board on clinical and strategic matters, including developing services and achieving high standards of clinical practice and governance.

Dr S. Kakkilaya

GMC: 5205435

Dr Kakkilaya has been a member of Royal College of Psychiatrist since 2004. He is an approved clinician as defined within the mental health act. He has breadth of experience of working in different mental health services including acute services community teams, forensic hospitals, and rehabilitation units. Dr Kakkilaya also has expertise in liaison psychiatry and management of complex chronic conditions including neuropsychiatry. Dr Kakkilaya was involved in teaching international medical graduates for over 15 years. He has also trained junior doctors for the preparation of MRCPsych exams. He has participated in research and service development projects. He advocates for patient and carers participation to deliver patient catered care. He has excellent skills of MDT working to involve all disciplines to deliver efficient integrated care.

Laura Henry

Director of Operations (Northwest Hospitals)

Laura is the Director of Operations for the northwest hospitals. Laura is a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist. Laura joined the group in 2017, working across different sites and roles to support service and quality development. Laura is very clear that in addition to clinical therapeutic engagement individuals need to develop a range of occupational capabilities whilst in a rehabilitation service to ensure a successful and sustainable transition to less restrictive services.

Sean Daltrey

Mental Health Administrator

Sean joined Krinvest Care Group in 2020 and is the mental health act administrator for the group's hospitals.

Shirley Morton

Hospital Manager, Draper House

Shirley joined Krinvest as Hospital Manager at Draper House in May 2023. She is highly motivated, and an experienced Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Shirley’s passion and area of interest has consistently been mental health. She has worked within secure hospital care, supporting women with complex mental health difficulties, since 2009. Shirley progressed to position of Lead Social Worker and has developed a wealth of knowledge and skills that she has transferred to her new role. It is important for Shirley that she continues to develop as a Hospital Manager whilst maintaining, and demonstrating her social work skills and values.

Penny Richardson

Occupational Therapist

Penny holds degrees in both Psychology and Occupational Therapy and has experience in a variety of clinical settings, including adult and older people’s mental health, forensic and early intervention services and acquired brain injuries. She has a particular passion and interest in mental health, which was acknowledged in a previous post whereby she was awarded ‘Health and Social Professional of the Year’ for her commitment and hard work in developing an Occupational Therapy service. More recently she has worked as a clinical case manager, using her skills and knowledge to recruit, co-ordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary teams in order to deliver effective evidence-based rehabilitation programmes to individuals who have sustained traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. As an Occupational Therapist, Penny is an advocate of promoting individual’s independence and well-being through meaningful activity and uses a holistic approach, in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team, to facilitate person-centred recovery.

Ellie Pritchard

Administrator, Draper House

Ellie has three years administration experience, primarily in healthcare settings and within the NHS. Having recently completed a CIPD qualification after taking an interest in HR processes, she plans to undertake further study in this subject area to hopefully gain a level 5 CIPD qualification.

Kim Williams

Speech and language therapist

I have over 33 years experience of working with people with disabilities in a variety of different settings. I specialise in the areas of; Mental health and Deafness, Learning Disabilities (including ASC - Autistic Spectrum Conditions and PIMD - Profound Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities) and dysphagia. I am committed to the use of Total Communication techniques and use staff training coupled with assessment as the keys to the creation of specific environments which support change and communicative interactions for individuals and HR.
